A l’hotel lloguen motos electriques i t’ajuden a programar visites i qualsevol cosa que necessitis. Restaurant amb menjar occidental molt bo.

Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. 1. Very friendly, helpful and hospitable owner of the hotel. He arranged our pick up at the train station, helped to book tickets to the cruise, organized our trip to the rice terraces and much more! 2. Location is a gem! Very peaceful and beautiful. 3. Hotel is very Chinese style, which we liked a lot. We also got a free upgrade to the garden view with a terrace.

This hotel was just perfect for our weekend in Yangshuo, out of the busy city and only 15min away by scooter (available from the hotel). Very quiet and beautifully arranged. River view room was very nice, breakfast is just what we needed and the staff was really kind and fulfil all our requests: book the scooter, activity recommendations and bookings. We highly recommend moon hike / the light show / river bamboo rafting.

Surrounded amidst impressive Karst mountains, Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is located at the edge of Yulong River. Free WiFi access is available. Free parking space is offered. The location and the outside appearance of Yangshuo Mountain Retreat almost impossibly beautiful. It is situated a stone’s throw from the Yulong River in a valley that is one of the most magical places I have ever visited. Near-vertical towering karst terrain spires line the valley on either side and tower directly behind the resort itself. The resort provides free bicycles which are better maintained that those that I have found for free in other hotels and there are free helmets and bicycle locks provided. The bike ride up the valley for a mile or so along a wide brick paved path that runs along the banks of the river offers a parade of vertical peaks on either side of the river(there are more extensive bike routes listed online but these involved sharing the road with busy auto and motor scooter traffic and I,for one, did not think the risk of an orthopedic, or head, injury was worth it). The Yulong river valley is lined with small farms and has so many gorgeous plants(from banana trees to rice ready for harvest and local wild flowers), that I chose to walk it several times to appreciate the fine detail one misses when biking. The exterior of the resort itself is very charming with exuberant blooming bougainvillea lining the path and framing the verandas of each room. The interiors and plumbing are somewhat old fashioned but comfortable and clean and the rooms have a small veranda with chairs and a small table looking out onto a stunning bougainvillea-framed view of the river and mountains. The staff were friendly and went out off their way to be helpful. They welcomed us on our first day with a complimentary pot of ginger tea and a little plate of cookies. The ginger tea was so good we went back three times during our stay for a pot of the same tea. The restaurant was cozy and the chinese dishes were good(we did not try their western menu).

Li River Resort is situated on the west bank of Li River and offers a relaxing retreat in Chinese-style accommodation. Perfect location with really great views to the mountains. The host was very supportive, they took very good care of our staying. Highly recommended

Wedged amongst the bamboo forests and rural farmlands, Riverside Retreat Hotel overlooks the beautiful water of the Li River. El personal era super amable disposats sempre a ajudar a mes a mes parlavan angles i van ser de molta ajuda, el hotel esta situat a l’altre banda del riu amb lo qual per mi es un punt molt a favor perque surts de tota el soroll i la massificacio que hi ha al centre de la ciutat; i les vistes espectaculars immillorables hi tornaria sense pensar

El Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, abans conegut com Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, es troba al centre de la ciutat, just davant de 2 rius i 4 llacs. Location is quiet but within walking distance to the attractions and main streets. The hotel is tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture and artwork. They also helped us organize the driver and tours/Li River Cruise. Everything was top notch. I would strongly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a more relaxed experience in Guilin.
