The design of the common areas and the rooms are well aligned with the environment and adult style stay. Totally recommend it. Great that it has limits on noise, so you can actually rest when needed.

Casa Colonial is a quaint red and white guest house decorated with ornamental grids and palm trees in the El Prado District. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and complimentary parking. This hotel was a delight. As it says it is a colonial house with lots of character and charm set around a central courtyard. We had a room above the courtyard which was very quiet. The double room we stayed in wasn't huge but perfectly adequate and the breakfasts were excellent with fresh fruit, eggs and cheese, juice and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The tourist attractions in Barranquilla were more spread throughout the city so we took taxis but they are plentiful and reasonable for the short distances and the hotel are happy to call them for you. We enjoyed visits to the Sharks Fin, The Carnival Museum, La Troja, Window to the World and the Malecon and there are some really good shopping malls. In terms of location, quality and value for money we thought this hotel was excellent.
