This is a great place near the bus station (we were transiting through Popayán by bus). The sraff were very accommodating and helpful. The common spaces function as an art gallery and the room was super clean. Highly recommended.

The owner is so helpful and the rooms on the top floor look out over the city. It’s a peaceful spot in the middle of the city. The owner went above and beyond by watching most of our belongings while we took a side trip for five days to Puracé and Tierradentro. He was also able to give us a ride to the airport— it’s quite close to the hotel.

Hotel La Plazuela, which houses artisan Pizzeria 100% sourdough, fresh tomato sauce from the region, with 18 years of tradition and recognized locally; Pizzas, lasagnas, long pastas, soups and... Loved everything about this hotel. We had a large corner room. We could barely hear street noise. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was modern. The location was ideal...one block to the center plaza. The staff were very welcoming. Hotel parking was a block away, but the porter always accompanied us there and back.
