House of Nomad - Adults only er staðsett í Tamarindo, 500 metra frá Tamarindo-strönd og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. Everything! It was a sanctuary for me. Clean, well-maintained, nicely designed room and space (the room was also very spacious — I could even lay out a yoga mat and practice everyday with more than enough space to walk around it). There’s a self-contained kitchen if you wanna cook. Also the owners and staff are fab — very friendly and helpful :) Close to restaurants and shops. It’s a short 2-3min walk to the main street and a big supermarket right there… and you can walk to the beach in about 10mins or less. If you’re feeling lazy, there are about 4 restaurants at your doorstep. As a solo female traveler, I also felt really safe. Would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Tamarindo!

Hotel Tabasco er staðsett í Playa Flamingo, 300 metra frá Potrero-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, spilavíti og grillaðstöðu. This hotel is the best! The couple that own it are so helpful and friendly and provide the best breakfast with homemade croissants, breads and jellies!!!

Beach Front Bahia er staðsett í Sámara og er steinsnar frá Samara-ströndinni. Boðið er upp á alhliða móttökuþjónustu, herbergi, verönd, ókeypis WiFi og bar. ONDA - Playa Grande - Adults Only er staðsett í Playa Grande, 200 metra frá Grande-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, veitingastað og bar. Highly recommended, especially for solo travelling. Immediately made friends with all the staff and guests ans had a great time. Close to the beach, surfboards can be rented. Great mix between hotel and hostel.

The White Palms of Nosara er staðsett í Playa Guiones, 1 km frá Guiones-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og sameiginlega setustofu. Its comfort its architecture moreover it was quiet , no constant music in the background like unfortunately in many places . It feels just wonderful to be able to listen to the jungle sounds and this should be more celebrated ;) All staff was also very professional and helpful . We also liked meeting the big hotel pet: the well fed iguana !

Hotel Elixir er staðsett í Tamarindo, 600 metra frá Tamarindo-strönd og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði og garði. Þetta 4 stjörnu hótel býður upp á farangursgeymslu. Quiet location, just a few minutes walk from the centre. Breakfast was nice, love the coffee. Nice pool. Good amenities.

Finca Avellanas er staðsett í Playa Avellana, 2 km frá Avellanas-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistingu með garði og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Located in quiet place, but few min from the beach. Swimming pool always ready to jump in, friendly hosts, open kitchen with all we needed, big fridge.

Tuki Tuki Lodge er staðsett í Sámara, 1 km frá Samara-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Gistirýmið er með sólarhringsmóttöku og herbergisþjónustu fyrir gesti. I spent the last three nights of my trip at Tuki Tuki lodge and would come back in a heartbeat. JP gave me a warm welcome, even took a short tour of the city in a TukTuk and showed me the most important landmarks. Since the lodge is a little out of the way, it is very quiet, but even as a woman I felt safe walking back from the city in the dark. JP also gave me the bike to use freely, which made the distance even shorter. The room was clean and well equipped, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was prepared to order every morning and was very tasty. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

SoulShine er staðsett í Playa Avellana, 500 metra frá Avellanas-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. Gestir geta nýtt sér barinn. Soulshine was the best place we stayed in during our trip to Guanacaste! Not only is the place beyond beautiful and peaceful (we felt like we had the place to ourselves because it's so big), but the staff was amazing (thank you for your warm welcome and hospitality, Yael :)) and the food was the most delicious we ate. Everything on their menu is worth trying -I'm still dreaming about the vegan shakshouka, the challah french toasts, the surprise salad & the avocado toast! Yael gave us a lot of recos on where to go, where to eat out, and it was always on point. The pool is amazing, the rooms are big and clean, and the wifi was the best we experienced during our stay in Costa Rica. We would definitely go back!

Hotel Casa Carlota Tamarindo er staðsett í Tamarindo og er með garð. Það er útisundlaug á staðnum sem er opin allt árið um kring og gestir geta nýtt sér ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. I travel a lot and I don't think I've met friendlier or more helpful hosts at this hotel. Due to a shortage of rental cars throughout Costa Rica, I was without transportation when I arrived at the hotel. Jeffrey and Shirley gave me a ride to downtown Tamarindo and even took time from their busy schedule to provide a personal tour of the town. Shirley even arranged an Uber taxi for me to travel to my next stop at Coco Beach. They are renovating the hotel and it is now modern, clean and reasonably priced.
