Situated in Tamarindo, 500 metres from Tamarindo Beach, House of Nomad - Adults only features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Everything! It was a sanctuary for me. Clean, well-maintained, nicely designed room and space (the room was also very spacious — I could even lay out a yoga mat and practice everyday with more than enough space to walk around it). There’s a self-contained kitchen if you wanna cook. Also the owners and staff are fab — very friendly and helpful :) Close to restaurants and shops. It’s a short 2-3min walk to the main street and a big supermarket right there… and you can walk to the beach in about 10mins or less. If you’re feeling lazy, there are about 4 restaurants at your doorstep. As a solo female traveler, I also felt really safe. Would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Tamarindo!

Clean, cute property with lots of greenery, hot water, close by the beach and supermarket. Beautiful facility. I don't usually care to use a pool when I have an ocean to swim in... but in this case it was awesome to have access to both. The room had a fridge so that made getting a few things at the store, like yogurt and fruit and soda. The breakfast every morning was great. The good vibes within the place and other guests. Very nice cabins, lots of privacy, good silent airco, great swimming pool with view of eagles and monkeys, love that there are only a small number of people on the property. Best food we ate in the area. Beautiful beach close by.

I travel a lot and I don't think I've met friendlier or more helpful hosts at this hotel. Due to a shortage of rental cars throughout Costa Rica, I was without transportation when I arrived at the hotel. Jeffrey and Shirley gave me a ride to downtown Tamarindo and even took time from their busy schedule to provide a personal tour of the town. Shirley even arranged an Uber taxi for me to travel to my next stop at Coco Beach. They are renovating the hotel and it is now modern, clean and reasonably priced.
