Västerlänningar som stressar med att få ihop sin vardag och sitt arbetsliv, och som sedan bara har några få veckors semester varje år som de vill tillbringa genom att koppla av utomlands, så är det ingen hemlighet att Egypten kan vara ett ganska påfrestande land att finna avkoppling i, just på grund av människor som jagar en på torg och gator för att sälja dig nånting. De tar oftast inte heller ett nej som ett svar. Det är inget fel med det i sig. Faktum är att detta kan vara en fantastisk och rolig upplevelse för de som gillar prutar-kulturer samt ser det som en sport att navigera igenom. Men för vissa västerlänningar vars huvudsyfte är att stressa ner på sin semester, så kan denna "kulturkrock" ge motsatt effekt. Steigenberger Nile Palace är det perfekta hotellet för en paus från denna hektiska miljön nämnd ovan. Det är en stor yta att visats fritt kring och självfallet är ingen här påträngande eller har avsikt att störa eller jaga dig runt området bara för att försöka sälja på dig nånting. All personal är väldigt trevliga och har ett fantastiskt bemötande. Du känner dig välkommen och gott omhändertagen oavsett tid på dygnet.

This place is amazing the owner speaks perfect English is super helpful and can take care of all your tour requirements at very very lowest prices . He helped us so much with everything and is a genuinely nice guy. The large rooms are fantastic with 2 or 3 beds balcony breakfast include and the convenience of rooftop buffet. And very cheap laundry.

Everything about the Pharaonic Rose was perfect. I spent some of the happiest days of my life in Luxor thanks in no small part to the Pharaonic Rose. They have a rooftop with a view of the cliffs and Medinet Habu. The seating area downstairs is shady and in an oasis of a garden. It's very close to Medinet Habu, but far enough away that it is very quiet. It was so nice to have a quiet and peaceful place to return to after the bustle of the tourist areas. The food was amazing. They would just pile heaps of delicious food in front of you. The breakfast was the best I had in Egypt and they can prepare lunch and dinner for you as well. They also organized very affordable transportation for reaching different sites in the area. The family that runs the Pharaonic Rose is extremely kind and welcoming. By the end of the stay I felt like part of the family and the Pharaonic Rose felt like home. To get all that for such a reasonable price is unbelievable! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. If you are going to Luxor, stay here.

Luxor Old Nile Hotel features a restaurant, bar, a garden and private beach area in Luxor. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service, free WiFi and parking space. Very relaxing place to stay. Quiet but not far from everything. Staff were very helpful and went out of way to make very comfortable . Would definitely stay here if in Luxor again. Meals were delicious and very filling.

Nour El Balad ligger i Luxor, alldeles intill Madinet Habou-templet. Wi-Fi finns tillgängligt. Här erbjuds lerhus med mysiga och traditionella rum i en palmlund. The staff was incredibly welcoming, warm and attentive. the food was absolutely delicious and all prepared at home. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the space was in a rural area amongst cabbage farms and green fields. They have a nice terrace with sweeping views of the fields, mountains behind the Valley of the Kings and around the corner of the Habu temple and very close to the Colossus of Menon.

Surrounded by landscaped gardens, Al Baeirat Hotel is located on the banks of the Nile. Featuring a swimming pool, a shopping arcade and a 24-hour front desk that offers ironing services. Everything! absolutely everything is great! The peace that you feel is amazing; no noise, not too many people, amazing food and amazing staff. Plus, the Bungalows are lovely. The owner and all the staff are friendly and willing to help, the cleaning staff leaves a lovely towel made animal form on your bed; they offer tours and they have their own boat that takes you to the East Bank. The view is amazing too, we are absolutely happy and satisfied with the place. Thanks a lot!!!
