Breakfast and all the meals was freshly cooked and very delicious .The surrounding mountain scenery is beautiful. Excellent service,the owner and all the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Yohannes,the owner booked my tour guide and transportation to the remarkable churches of Lalibela. A very delightful experience !

Halle Hotel Lalibela has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and BBQ facilities in Lalībela. Built in 2020, the property is within 2 km of Bet Amanuel and 2.9 km of Bet Abba Libanos. The breakfast was great, and the host was so sweet making sure that we had everything we would need to make our stay a memorable one. I would highly suggest the hotel for any visitors, and the sunset views from the balcony are a MAJOR PLUS!

Close to Kana restaurant, stunning views in the garden, incredible staff, the breakfast and very close to the historical churches. They have a local guide who speaks great English and have incredible knowledge about the history. They even offered me dinner for the last night!

The rooms are even more beautiful than advertised, stunning views and gorgeous art throughout. The staff and owner were exceptionally kind and prepared an amazing sunset dinner overlooking the mountains. They booked our tour to the churches and ensured we were safely accompanied with a knowledgeable guide. A delightful experience all around!

The locatiion is in the northern part of Lalibella, still close to the churches but in a quiet neighbourhood. A stunning view from the window! Rooms are very nice. Very tasty buffet-style breakfasts are served at sisterly hotel just around the corner. Airport transfer included. Any tour you need is provided by a knowledgeable guide Girma. A lovely Habtam, working now hard on improving her English skills, is always willing to help.

Best view, amazing rooftop and friendliest staff. Abel and the team for the restaurant are so kind and flexible! The rooms are great and spacious, with big bathrooms and great showers. It is very cozy to have our own balcony. We only wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the unique rooftop more!

My room at the Alef Paradise hotel had a really beautiful view that I could enjoy from my own little patio. The staff were all very nice and helpful and even set me up with a local guide and transport before I arrived. The free breakfast was really delicious - especially the coffee! Overall, the Alef Paradise hotel is a great value for money and I would definitely recommend to future visitors! To note: the power is only on at certain times of day (evening and potentially a few hours in the morning) but that's more a function of power in the town and not due to Alef Paradise Hotel. Just plan to charge your things at night or have a power bank with you.
