The whole experience was great. The tour organised for us by the manager was excellent. We had an interesting insight into the history etc of Islay.

Staff: took the time to remember our names before we even got there, super hospitable, and always make sure to prioritize the guests. They went above and beyond for any requests we had. Room: cleanliness & amenities felt like a hotel, decor felt like home, perfect mix Food/bar: local bar is right downstairs (but split from the hotel side if you just need entrance/exit), what else could you want. Food was really good as well. They also have a sister restaurant that books out down the street! This is our favorite hotel that we've ever stayed at. Can't wait to go back, thank you to everyone at Lochindaal!

Featuring a fitness centre and a garden, Machrie Hotel & Golf Links is situated just outside Port Ellen. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Such an amazing location with awesome views, and really friendly and helpful staff. Lots of lovely places to relax and appreciate the views, with a walk to the beach a must. The food was delicious, and so easy to explore the island from here. We loved our stay here!

Great location, super helpful staff. We had some booking issues and ferry travel difficulties, and Ian went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Great breakfast and good dinner experience. Clean and comfortable room with gorgeous garden surrounding the hotel.

Port Charlotte Hotel is located in Port Charlotte on the shore of Loch Indaal. The conservatory and gardens open onto a sandy beach. This is a very quaint, pretty , beautiful experience of staying in an historic hotel. It was beautifully decorated for Xmas and other guests and locals visiting the bar were friendly and fun. Food was great. Tv struggled. Breakfasts were fantastic especially the scrambled eggs and salmon. Loved having Marion play piano accordion on our last night. Thanks to Henry for organising. Was very special.

Located in Port Ellen, No. 1 Charlotte Street has a garden, shared lounge, bar, and free WiFi. The rooms in the hotel are fitted with a coffee machine. Very good B&B, very well located, with a comfortable room and a good shower. Fantastic breakfast. An extremely nice supporting room for guests, with a very good infrastructure. Very kind staff. As part of the B&B infrastructure, there is an attached cozy Pub. Drinks can be consumed in a beautiful and relaxing external area, as an extension of the B&B.

Lochside hotel is situated in Bowmore and features a terrace. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Free WiFi is available. perfect location, excellent restaurant and bar, friendly staff

Nastanitev Port Askaig Hotel z 2 zvezdicama se nahaja v mestu Port Askaig in ima vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter bar. Stunning view, quiet, and takes you back in time. The little restaurant and bar has delicious food and the freshest seafood.

Excellent accommodation, the online pictures made the room look ok but in reality it was excellent. My partner and i were very pleased with the stay and location. Would easily recommend.

I would highly recommend staying here if you will be in Port Ellen, and order the breakfast rolls while you’re there.
