The Hotel has a very friendly hospital staff, a beautiful building with a modern interior in the historical centre of the city, and fresh, well-furnished, and clean rooms. It was very quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent.

They have lovely breakfast and a very accommodating host, Sasa (not sure if i spelled it right). We only stayed for a night but we really had fun.

The room was cosy & equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay including: robes, slippers, toothbrushes, kettle, tea/coffee & a small fridge. The host Marika, couldn’t do enough to help us & she even left us a Paska over Orthodox Easter. The location couldn’t be better, right in the city centre. I honestly think this is the best place to stay in Kutaisi :)

The host took us to the airport by car at night during very bad weather conditions. We are very grateful to him. The accommodation is warm, clean and nice inside. Wi-FI works great. There is a fridge, great air conditioning and a SMART TV in the room. Even Netflix is there. The beds are very comfortable. The accommodation is in the center of Kutaisi. Only positive impressions. I recommend it!

Compared to Tbilisi the people here are less used to...
Compared to Tbilisi the people here are less used to tourists. And (generalizing) they are more 'show off' people. Me and my gf are an unusual couple (tall dutch guy and little georgian girl) but we were often rude stared at. Much more than in Tbilisi. Since they thought my gf is also foreigner they gossiped about us while standing next to them. Being called stupid tourists while doing nothing wrong is weird. I felt less welcome and comfortable than in Tbilisi. Kutaisi itself has a few nice things to offer, but 1-2 days is enough for city itself. It is however excellent located for several excursions in the beautiful imereti region.

Kutaisi is a great city as a starting point to discover Georgia. Kutaisi is a lovely town itself, completely different than Tbilisi or Batumi. There's a nice old town and the street markets are very authentic and not the same as the usual basars. Around the town you can find a couple of national parks and other cities which are great for day trips, like Chiatura, the Okatse Canyon and Prometheus caves. In the beginning we had some problems to find an open restaurant, since the information at Tripadvisor are not up-to-date. But after a while we found some good places just by walking around. Also people from Imereti are pretty hospitable and friendly!

Really cozy and quiet hotel with modern interiors in 5-7 minutes walk from the city center. The terrace, as it's mentioned in the title, is a key feature on the roof of the hotel. We enjoyed fascinating panoramic views from the balcony, fresh breakfast in the morning, lovely garden around the building, responsive and friendly staff. Definitely a great choice for a trip around Imereti region or a short stay on the way from Kutaisi airport to Tbilisi!

Commual Hotels is a true gem in Georgia and finally they have opened in Kutaisi. The quality in general and the attention to details is unmatched. Rooms are comfy and nicely decorated. The inhouse restaurant DOLI is the best in Kutaisi with an interesting interpretation of regional dishes. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. Will stay again for sure and I'll recommend it to anyone going to Imereti or Kutaisi.

We loved the unique experience of staying a few days in an old majestic Sovjet sanatorium. The building looks really great and we loved the tour around the building that we got. The staff was also very helpful with supporting us planning our next stops on our travel. Also the room was very spacious and great breakfast.

It has a great view with all the comforts to make you feel right at home. There's a kitchen with all the facilities in case you want to cook by yourselves. The rooms are comfortable and warm as well. In addition, the owner Aqha was also very welcoming and recommended places worth visiting around.

The price was great. The building is an old Olympic training facility (apparently) and there's an Olympic sized pool that's open for your use is included!! For a cheap place, the common area and the finishing touches were quite elegant (matured hardwood floors, nice tile, big solid wood tables, nice solid couch). Kitchen had everything except (see below). Friendly staff and one of them, Irma, helped me with my Georgian. Big outdoor patio.

It was our second time in Chateau Chikovani and we had a fantastic time again. Clean and nice room, dinner prepared on request, simple, fresh and tasty. With the very special wine of the chateau, it is a blessing really. We recommend.
