The room was spacious and the patio overlooking the nice garden was a great place to relax. On one afternoon we could even see an orangutan with her baby in the garden. The complementary breakfast was delicious with lot of choices. They have also a restaurant overlooking the river where they serve superb food and juices at very convenient prices. Andri and his family were very friendly and helpful for any inquiry we had and arranged our transport from airport and after to Berastagi. We went on the 1 day jungle trek with them and had a great time with Amri and Baba as well as a very interesting village tour. Comunication before arrival was excellent. Wifi was working very good.

Objekat Sam's Bungalows, koji je smešten u gradu Bukit Lawang, ima vrt i besplatan WiFi u celom objektu. Sam is an attentive and friendly owner and his staff are excellent! Pipie his main guy was always there to chat and help plus he played Rummikub with us at night! The restaurant was very good with a great selection of food with amazing value! They booked out car from Medan and gave a motorbike ride to the hotel which added to our experience! We also booked a jungle trek with Andre and Rama as our guides… they were patient and fun to hang with and the provided a wonderful lunch plus we saw six Orangutans with a mom and baby within 5ft! A definite recommend to our friends !

The staff made the stay - they are so welcoming, make you feel at home, it is a relaxed atmosphere but also the service is exceptional. Blade was amazing, so professional, made sure we were always ok, fed, watered and comfortable - but he is also just such a great person! Also thank you to Bronte for the conversations, Ichan and our guide Rosie for our jungle adventure, Aldi - an excellent manager, Agung and Ipnu rides and for helping us out with various things and to the lovely Idra! Thank you to the amazing women who seem to do most of the cooking, the food is INCREDIBLE! I actually mainly ate at The Jungle Inn for every meal my entire stay as the food was so good, the menu varied and good value for money. Our room was so beautiful, he had the honeymoon room which had a private view over a waterfall, a bath/shower overlooking the jungle with hot water, a large entrance area (where we had massages one day), bedroom with 4 poster bed in which I would wake to the sound of monkeys and watch them swinging through the jungle before I am even out of bed! A short walk from the Inn and you are down the river with the jungle hanging over you... we got engaged here and the staff made it such a special experience for us. Thank you, love Sarah and Dean!

Make sure you try the Chicken Rendang and the Banana Chocolate Springrolls. Sooooo good! What else? What makes beautiful place even more special is Tia and her team. Tia is the soul of Rambai Tree and is such a caring and warmhearted person who will do everything possible to have a memorable stay. She was always available whenever i needed something and it was always great to have a chat with her. Tia also organized a jungle tour for me, which was an incredible experience. It was great that I did Not have to take care of anything. You can even tell her what you expect from your guide- if you would like to have a fun and entertaining guide who makes sure you won’t get bored or someone calm to just get Professional i nformation about the jungle and enjoy the peace of nature. A big thank you and I hope I can come back to this magical place someday 🌴

They told me they had a great time. The room was very clean and comfy, the breakfast was wonderful and plentiful and the rooftop pool was amazing.
