After hanging out and relaxing it was found the power was on in their other property across the road, we were offered a beautiful manor for the night and had an amazing evening!

The room was clean, organized, with a lot of space. It had a bath and a shower. All the people there were very welcoming, helpful and nice with us, from the reception to the pub. The food at the pub was so good and worth the price. Great quality/price balance.

The Darnley Lodge Hotel is a beautiful property located in the head of Athboy. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The in-house restaurant serves excellent, reasonably-priced food with generous portions. And the staff members are very helpful. Because I was cycling through the area, I needed some special accommodations (like a place to store my bicycle), and they not only provided this but also helped me carry my gear up to my room. I enjoyed my stay, and I heartily recommend the property.
