Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel in the very center of Ireland, just a 5 minute walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of central Athlone. A very lovely hotel, kind staff. Rooms are very spacious, clean. The bistro has excellent food. Location is nice and calm, definitely recommend going to the Corlea trackway. Big free car park available.

Surrounded by magnificent parkland and nestled on the shores of Lough Ennell, Bloomfield House Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa form a perfect country escape. Great stay, only 1 night but made the most of the sauna. Staff friendly, food amazing, rooms luxurious. Walked the grounds to the pond, saw swans, cows, really relaxing stay.

In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. Staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel and room was smelling nice. Everything is lovely decorated, little chocolates, biscuits, tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room was a lovely surprise. Overlooking 10 acres of town park, Annebrook House Hotel is in the center of Mullingar. Lovely room with a balcony to the front of the building. Staff were were attentive and friendly. Waling distance to different bars.
