Staff is attentive and helpful with generally competent English language skills. The breakfast plan tends toward more "Japanese style" rather than "Western", but the quality and selection is excellent. If you're more into "Western style" there is an excellent bakery in the station at the ground floor beneath the hotel (which occupies floors 4 - 7 about the train station). The location (Wakoshi in Saitama Prefecture) is a little out of way, but you have plenty of public transportation options (commuter rail) to reach destinations in downtown Tokyo or the Yokohama area. The Tobu Hotel chain has similar facilities in other areas in and around Tokyo, all of which I expect would be as terrific as the location in Wakoshi.

Fantastic hotel and really good value for money. I liked the comfortable bed and pillows, the attentive and welcoming staff and the varied breakfast - I loved that they use non-sugar yogurt and offer lots of vegetables, this was made my choice easier. I was really surprised by how good this hotel was. Also, the location was perfect - I needed to be in a conference at the nearby Saitama arena and it was walking distance to it and also to lots of restaurants and shops in the nearby area.

This was actually my second time staying at the hotel, I enjoyed it so much the first time I decided to come back and it was just as good as I remembered. Very conveniently located for people who plan to visit Tokyo and Saitama, only 15 minutes from Ikebukero. The staff speak English and Japanese and there are many convenient amenities nearby, such as the train station, Starbucks, a nice bakery and some restaurants. I really enjoyed my time here.

We loved the high quality amenities available at the hotel (i.e., spa, shower head, hot water pot, etc.). The hotel was spacious and the mattress was soft in comparison to other hotels in Tokyo. We would stay here again if we were going to another concert in the future.
