Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Villa Anakao Mauritius is located at Pointe aux Sables, 6 km away from Port Louis. Free WiFi access is available. We spent two unforgettable weeks at the Anakao villa (March 2023). It was our first time at Mauritius. If you’re driving by car at night - pay attention- it is easy to miss. The location is convenient if you plan to travel a lot around the island. We used it as a base to go to locations north and south. After a long journey, we had a great welcome by the by super friendly hotel manager Ben and his dog Zuru. Ben told us all the sights we need to visit and other local advice (groceries, beaches, rhumeries etc. ) We were staying in the red room. It was big, nice and clean. We had access to a big balcony with view to the garden. The swimming pool was great and we spent a lot of time either in or around the pool. We enjoyed the view from the swimming pool every day! Although, there’s no sandy beach, there’s a carved out access to the ocean, where you can swim, kayak ( gear available) or snorkel. The hotel also provides swimming shoes to protect against steeping sharp stones. We were thinking of going out for dinner every night, but the dinner at the Villa was so delicious that we ate there every night. Especially, we liked the desserts. There I tasted the best cheesecake in my life. We actually had a true 5 star service. It was raining, so we ordered by phone from the kitchen and they brought the food under an umbrella! Somehow we really felt treated well. The Villa ambiance was very relaxing and family-oriented, all the staff was super friendly and supportive.

Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel, situated on the waterfront of Port Louis, the capital city, enjoys a prime location adjacent to the financial and business center. Hotel was fantastic, great big room, very friendly staff, food great, bottled water, coffee, tea in our room everyday, with no extra charge,we enjoy our stay, the hotel was very centeral to buses metro, an no shortage of taxis, would definitely recommend this hotel

Champ de Mars by Ivory Hotels offers accommodation in the city centre of Port Louis and is located just opposite the race course. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Clive was super helpful and a very nice host. He is the night manager and has made sure that everything went well. The trip was great thanks to this particular person. Conveniently located at the Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius and just 10 km away from the center of Port Loius, Voila Bagatelle offers a 24-hour front desk, meeting facilities and free Wi-Fi. My wife and I went into this not really expecting much, but it turned out to be absolutely fantastic. The staff was veri accommodating and helpful, there were no issues, the food was great and the view from the balcony was amazing! There was also Netflix which is a rarity for the price. Also the mall and everything included there gave us many more options. Overall, it was an amazing experience!
