Situated in Bastimentos, Ataraxia features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and sea views. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Absolutely stunning accomodation, set right on the water and at the edge of the jungle. Amazing views and tranquil. Pierre and Manon were amazing hosts, super accomodating welcoming and friendly. The room was amazing, everything was perfect and the balcony with hammock was lovely. Breakfast was a welcome bonus and was delicious, dinner was yum and good sized portions. Eco-friendly and they really care for the environment and treat their staff wonderfully well. Wildlife, we saw a sloth, frogs and lots of birds.

With garden views, Carmen's place is located in Bastimentos and has a restaurant and luggage storage space. The property features sea and lake views. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. We liked everything about this place, Carmen is a really big spirit, beautiful soul. Worth to mention: filtered water is provided, you also have beers, wines in the fridge and coconuts are available too. The organized tour was exceptional and Sunday night at the Bibi`s was an authentic experience.

The Lodge at Punta Rica- Hilltop Eco-Lodge with Views & Pool is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bastimentos, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, private beach area and... Punta Rica Lodge is nestled in the Bastimentos island jungle, surrounded by beautiful flora (trees, colorful flowers) and fauna (amazingly rich wildlife). We loved our super friendly, open, fun and helpful hosts, Brian and Daniel, who have made us truly feel at ease and among friends in this beautiful place. Most nights we ate dinner together, since Dan cooks the most amazing and varied dishes, all from fresh, local ingredients, while Brian makes wonderful cocktails that made us feel at home and among friends, sharing stories, dreams and travel adventures. We loved the pool and the common area (living and dining room), as well as our amazing suite, the delicious and fresh meals and the smiles. Thank you. It was one of the most amazing experiences ever.

True Nature Jungle House is located in Bastimentos and offers a terrace. The property features city and sea views. Angie is the most amazing host! The jungle house she build is awesome and we've had a wonderful stay. Angie is well connected and can help arrange tours and transport. She has some great suggestions on where to eat and things to do on and off the island.  The community living on Bastimentos is lovely and the town feels like something out of an adventure novel. The house is situated right on the jungle trail to Wizard Beach, where you have a chance to spot birds and wildlife. Mere 50m from the house you have Mami's Restaurant, who is somewhat of a mother figure in town and is a great cook! There is also a small nature reserve an adventurous 20min walk from the house which is a must see on Bastimentos. Although it first looks like a garden, the reserve is a gateway to the jungle on the island. Within an hour or so we've seen sloth, capuchin monkeys, cayman and redfrogs. Also Mami's super sweet dog aptly named Princess might show up at the house and demand cuddles. She is somewhat of a local celebrity and you'd best abide.

Located in Bastimentos, Eclypse de Mar Acqua Lodge offers private bungalows and rooms with individual hammocks and stairs that provide access to the ocean. A restaurant is also on site. Beautiful hut with direct access to water and a fresh water shower on our porch. A dream come true! The staff is very attentive and super nice (just to name a few: JJ and Alejandro!). There is a beautiful little nature reserve which belongs to the hotel and we saw caimans, red frogs, multiple sloths and other fun stuff. The hotel is close to Old Bank which is great for food and a stroll! We will definitely come back!

Featuring a private beach area, water sports facilities, and a garden, Akwaba Lodge provides accommodation in The Gap with free WiFi and sea views. The property features inner courtyard views. Hands down the best place we have stayed on in any of our travels. We enjoyed being a bit more isolated from Bocas itself. The island is amazingly vibrant and natural. The owners are just so friendly and the food was really amazing. Being able to borrow the Kayaks and Snorkeling gear was a nice plus. One day we Kayaked over to Red Frog Beach and saw some Dolphins along the way. If you Kayak along the shores there is a good chance to see sloths as well. We also really just enjoyed spending time in the Hammocks on one if the docks.
