Mario and his wife are the most friendly and helpful hosts! We absolutely loved our stay at their place and the walking tours of the island that Mario gave us each day. The meals they cooked us were so delicious that I had to ask for the soup recipe when we left. They happily answered all of our questions about the island and their culture. We even got to see Mario dance in the Fiesta de Santiago, which was incredible!

Dinner and breakfast were excellent and Celso's stories and information about the Taquile island and it's people were very interesting. He managed to tell us all those things even though he speaks only little english and we speaks only little spanish. Big recommendation for this place.
