Offering 123 rooms with stunning views of the sea, Octant Ponta Delgada is a vibrant and cosmopolitan hotel with an outdoor swimming pool located in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island of the Azores... My room was facing the harbour and my timing was perfect as aI saw the cruise ship come and go. The hotel is very close to the town central so a very convenient location. Breakfast foods was freshly prepared. Throughout the hotel the staff were friendly and eager to please the guest. I particularly liked the extra touch of hats for the guest, the delivery of a fruit basket upon arrival and the hand deliver of an afternoon "cookie pack". I am a very satisfied customer!

Hotel Arcanjo is housed in a 19th century building that combines traditional and modern design. It is ideally situated 50 metres away from the beachfront, south of the São Miguel Island. Great little breakfast with plenty of options somehow squeezed onto a very small counter space. Very very helpful receptionists and staff, accommodating every need and offering tons of helpful suggestions. Comfy room, good location next to a beach with a natural pool and beautiful shoreline.

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. personal and cozy hotel where every detail was well thought out. Fantastic breakfast and excellent dinner restaurant. The thermal bath receives a high rating. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice.

Located in a valley surrounded by trees, Terra Nostra Garden offers elegantly decorated rooms. Next to the Terra Nostra Botanical Park, it features indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel was amazing. It exceeded our expectations a lot as it turned out to be an actual 5-star level with outstanding service, super helpful and professional staff, two really good restaurants, especially the sushi bar). Everything from furniture to food at breakfast is of great quality and up to the highest standards (and we are quite well-traveled and not easy to impress). But most importantly, the amazing Terra Nostra Garden with its thermal pools is exclusively reserved for hotel guests from 4:30 pm to 10:30 am. Which means you can calmly explore the garden with no crowds as if's was only yours. This was probably our favorite experience in the Azores. Will definitely return again.

They were quick to respond to questions via Whatsapp. The private parking has space for about 6-8 spots so pretty useful if you can nab a spot. I was out for most of my stay but there is a pool and a spa if you wanted some downtime at the hotel.

Absolutely fantastic place, this is one of those 11/10 places that you find very rarely even if you travel a lot. Spacious room, saunas, indoor and outdoor pool (with an incredible view), onsite restaurant with staff prepared to adjust the meals with your personal preferences (vegetarian, gluten free etc). The whole team is so sweet and the atmosphere is cosy as at home.

We had a fantastic stay at Sul Villas and Spa. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating to us during the entirety of our time at the resort, from helping us order taxis to organizing an earlier checkout when we had just gotten in from a long flight; the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We really appreciated the privacy of our villa as well as the beautiful view. The room was also well decorated and had everything needed for our stay. The hotel restaurant was great for when you did not want to leave the resort, and Lagoa town has some good options for dinner if you are looking for something different. We highly recommend Sul Villas and Spa and would love to return. Obrigada!!
