This hotel is perfectly situated right on Lake Kivu, the view from the room was absolutely beautiful. Sitting at the restaurant as the sun set on the lake was an incredible experience. We also did the boat tour they offered and it was a really nice way to spend the afternoon. Food was also delicious. Highly recommend!

Lake Kivu Serena Hotel is located just 3 km from the centre of Gisenyi. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant and an on-site bar. The rooms are big and comfortable, the bathroom is fully equipped, including the hair dryer. Everything is clean and the stuff is very helpful. The location is great. There's a beautiful view on the lake. The breakfast were amazing, with many choices even for people who can't consume any lactose. There's a soy milk option which made my day. The swimming pool is clean. I would definitely return back.
