This is an excellent option for discerning travelers who would prefer to have a comfortable, non-resort type stay. The views of the ocean and especially the sun set are unparalleled. Cecile is an excellent hostess, who made sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Dinner is available on request. Sunbird is situated slightly away from the hustle and noise of Beau Vallon beach, but is easily accessible via the local buses if you have a local bus card, and the property is a few hundred meters from the bus stop. Glacis and Sun Set Beach are each within walking distance of the property while Tusculum Beach is directly across the road. There are also restaurants in relative walking distance and a local super market close by for any sundries that are required. This property is highly recommended.

The staff were exceptionally helpful with anything and everything, including the handle of a medical emergency that we encountered. Ideal location for the stunning Beau Vallon beach and close to t shops. Will definitely recommend and look forward to my next visit.

Clean house, well equipped. Close to nature. Beach excellent not crowdy and just a couple meters from the house. The staff are very kind, can handle every request! Fantastisk strand och förmodligen bästa boendet på Mahe, en riktig pärla. Vi var supernöjda med allt, service, mat, frukost och rum. Två vatten var per dag ingår. Vi rekommenderar att ha hyrbil (gratis parkering ingår) så man kan utforska ön lite friare. Rekommenderar även badskor när du badar på stranden.

Andrew was an excelente staff, very kind and professional! The room was huge, with a very pleasant balcony overlooking the mountains and the Chef Island. Queen size bed with an orthopedic mattress! Excellent breakfast! Very good Internet! Very nice location, just above the Victoria’s city center, and a quiet place!
