We had family meeting in Stockholm to begin out journey. Bjorn suggested Lulea as the nearest airport where we rented a car for the drive to Jokkmokk-the place where the magic begins. The glass huts was extraordinary-the best possible use of every inch of space. It was toasty warm inside and perfectly furnished. The views were out of this world. Bjorn also booked several adventures for us: snowmobiling, dog sledding and a visit to a Sami reindeer herder. One night he cooked for us, another perfect evening. We had two huts for three nights, which began with a Northern lights show. We could not have wished for anything more.
Arctic Bath

The design hotel Arctic Bath is located in Harads, in the heart of Swedish Lapland floating on the Luleå River. Guests can enjoy the midnight sun during summer and northern lights in the winter time. Unique, stunning, and a wonderful job incorporating the natural surroundings with modern facilities. Very friendly staff and fantastic massage!
Lannavaara Lodge

Very comfy place, das away from the lights and other cities, good to take some days off, view the northern lights do a dog sled tour or ride with a snowmobile. The owners are very friendly and helpful! Thanks again, we had a great stay!

The hotel is right at the entrance in Kiruna, from south, and it has a very imposing architecture, the bar at the 12th floor offering an amazing view until far distance. At the ground floor there are the lounge/bar and the restaurant, with great food options (buffet for breakfast and a-la-carte for dinner). Also there is a gym at 11th floor with basic but enough utilities for most needs. at 12th floor there's a sky-bar which exceeds the view and I fully recommend. The room was very spacious and with comfy beds, nice and clean bathroom. The daily cleaning is not by-default, if you need cleaning one day you need to ask at the reception. A special mention for the very helpful and supportive staff, both at reception and at bar/restaurant. We really liked it and fully recommend!

Situated in the heart of Umeå, Elite Hotel Mimer faces the Twin Towns Park and the main commercial pedestrian street. Guests have free WiFi along with free access to a sauna and fitness centre. During my short-trip to Sweden, this was the best hotel. The staff at the reception was very friendly, the service during dinner time and at the breakfast was also very good. The food was also the best that we had in all hotels, everything at the breakfast was great and the bread was fantastic. The room was really nice, with both the sofa and the bed being very comfortable, it's just overall a beautiful building with a really nice ambiente. All in all just a very good hotel and the next time I stay in Umeå, I will definitely book there again.
