Despite not expecting to be picked up I was collected from the airport which was great. I also got to meet lots of the locals too who are so friendly, no tourist trap here, just great people and thanks to Maria for all her help as my Portuguese is limited to hello and thank you!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Hotel Roça Sundy is a country house situated in a historic building in Santo António, 23 km from Zona Ecologica Principe Ecological Zone. I am rating Sundy Praia and not Roça Sundy as we were offered an upgrade and stayed in the villas instead, which was a nice surprise. All was beyond perfect, the villas in the jungle and their private beach were absolutely stunning! Food was good too, place is calm and clean, and the staff, in particular the young men at the front desk will go the extra mile to make you feel home!

Providing sea views, Pousadinha Mar Ave Ilha in Principe provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The location is really special. From the bathroom window I could see hundreds of beautiful birds, the garden is amazing, and I felt welcomed.
