We loved the bungalow with private pool and firepit at the river in the middle of this reserve. Like a little piece of paradise. So many animals will visit you during your stay, and I personally loved the fireflies above the river in the early evening, so beautiful. Do not tell anyone so we keep it a bit of a secret!!

Hlane Royal National Park ligger 7 km från Simunye. Här erbjuds boende på 2 lägerplatser i ett 22 000 hektar stort naturreservat. We were definitely able to connect with nature. There's no electricity in the rooms, but there are nice lamps for you to use to light up the room and walk around the park during the night. The dinner was great. It was buffet-style and there were quite a few options to choose from, and the cake was really good. It had a really nice light custard sauce that you can drizzle on top. That with a cup of hot rooibus tea was an amazing way to end the evening. The sunrise drive was my favorite part. Nelly was a great guide. He was funny and he made learning about the animals fun.
