The rooms were clean, quiet, spacious, the beds were large and amongst the comfiest we've slept in. The staff was super helpful when we had to extend our stay twice and they were supportive with any questions we had. It's right around the corner from useful shops and a nice walking trail, as well as easy access to the highway.

The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pots. The cottage was far enough from the road that it was quiet and the location was central to the places we were visiting. I highly recommend Marina Bay Cottages for anyone visiting the Waterford/Niantic area.

If you are anywhere in Fairfield County and want to be spoiled at one of the greatest inns in America, you must stay here. The accommodations are first rate but not fussy, there are so many special touches such as homemade cookies and snacks and 24/7 coffee, an included out of this world humungous breakfast cooked to order, a heating bar in the bathroom for one's towel, and maybe the best part - being next door to one of the best restaurants I've ever been to - Bernard's, and then a delightful walk into the absolutely adorable town of Ridgefield that has it all, even a wonderful hardware store. Daughter and I had a most wonderful stay. There is something else I need to mention. We were supposed to go earlier in the season but I developed vertigo the day I was to arrive. I could not get out of bed, much less drive a car. One of the owners got on the phone and told me that her husband had vertigo issues and she fully empathized. Said to not worry about paying even though this was a last minute cancellation and she certainly could have demanded it. Anytime we need a place to stay in this gorgeous neck of the woods again, we are returning to The West Lane Inn.

I spent Mother's Day with my best friend at Mayflower Resort, and no words can truly capture the amazing experience we had. Special thanks to Katy at the reception on the night shift. We enjoyed our late-night conversations with her, and she treated us exceptionally well, even offering us s'mores by the fire. Chris welcomed us with such warmth and kindness from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. sweet and friendly demeanor truly added a personal touch to our stay. Thank you Chris & Katy Thank you to the wonderful team at Mayflower Resort for making our visit unforgettable
