Located in Nags Head, a few steps from Nags Head Beach, Surf Side Hotel provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Breakfast was amazing! Best we have ever seen at a hotel. Outdoor pool was open which we were not expecting. Indoor pool warm, hot tub was nice. Great location. Quiet hotel. Kids enjoyed the cookies at night.

Offering an outdoor pool and views of the pool, Shutters on the Banks is situated in Kill Devil Hills, 7 km from Nags Head. Everything was very comfortable. Beach so easy to get too and close. The breakfast was delicious.

The Hatteras Island Inn is just 1 mile from the beach and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Free WiFi is available in all guest rooms. The room is quite large and spacious with a nice large HD TV. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are equipped with a fridge and microwave. The property was very quiet and I was able to get rest when needed between working. The staff is friendly, especially Robin, she’s the best!

The John Yancey Oceanfront Inn is located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Kill Devil Hills. This hotel serves a daily continental breakfast and has an outdoor pool on site. This was part of a trip to Panama Beach FL, our second night out, on the way from Peterborough, ON Canada. Kind of retracing a general route we took in April, 1981. We had never been to The Outer Banks, so were unsure what to expect. Wonderful surprises as we approached from Virginia Beach area, and as we arrived in Kill Devil Hills. Beautiful area. Found out, though, we were a day early on our dates! Horror! My bad. I did the bookings. But the desk clerk was ever so helpful in getting us straightened out and into a room. Pleasant, friendly and making sure we were ok. We were hungry and he gave us a list of restaurants close by. But he said a lot of guests liked the Kill Devil Hills Grille directly across from the resort. Man, was he right! Had an excellent pub meal. And they were great there too! And then excellent breakfast in the morning to get us on our way. Wow!

Located in Kitty Hawk, this brand-new Holiday Inn Express is a 5 minute walk from to the beach and steps from some of the most popular restaurants on the Outer Banks. Everything seemed new seems like it had had a re model ... we were reluctant to book as it only said 2 star ... but this was a good 4 star ⭐️

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Outer Banks Kill Devil Hills has free bikes, fitness centre, a shared lounge and terrace in Kill Devil Hills. The location was perfect, the staff were incredibly friendly. We had our little four pound fur baby with us and she was treated like gold. The rooms were huge, and had a a little kitchenette that we could use if we wanted to heat up food or cook something. The rooms were very clean which is always important to know. We would most certainly stay here again with our family.

This waterfront hotel is located on the Currituck Sound of North Carolina and features an outdoor pool. Free bikes are available for guests, and every room offers cable TV. Staff is fantastic, and the view with an amazing sunset is unforgettable!
