Such a lovely set up for families, we arrived after a long flight and wanted to stay close to airport before driving to our next destination. Arrived early and we were able to swim and relax while the room was being made up. They really went out of the way for us and we felt very comfortable - best night of sleep we all had, and for a family with young kids it was perfect.

The host was very sweet and friendly, and she definitely walked an extra mile to make us happy. The breakfast was like it came from a restaurant (original, beautiful, healthy, with generous size of the portions). The area around the house is a beautiful and well maintained garden. We stayed as a family of 4 (with parents) and it was a perfect spacious house to accommodate us all.

The host was amazing, a wonderful spirited lady. Magda is just the sweetest host anyone could ever wish for. The warm welcome made the stay more homely. Wish i could've spent more days at the property. This place really cares about your stay and safety while you're in the premises. Very clean and perfectly located. Mornings in the garden are to die for.

Potteberg Guest Farm, a property with barbecue facilities and a terrace, is situated in Malgas, 9 km from Breede River Trading Post, 11 km from Potberg, as well as 10.4 km from Potberg Hiking Trail... The guest house was comfortable and cozy. The electric blanket was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again. The host made the house charming and had an attention to details.

Situated between the N2 and R322 and 20 km outside of Heildeber, Skeiding Guest Farm is a working ostrich and sheep farm with panoramic mountain views. The people who run this lovely homestay was one of the best I’ve ever encountered in the entire world. Upon arrival I was provided a generous full course dinner (don’t miss their ostrich steak!). The accommodation was a bit old but in perfect condition and comfortable. The optional farm tour, which starts at 7.30am, was definitely a highlight of my stay, where you can get really close with the ostriches and see the springboks. All I can say is if you pass by the area, stay there. You won’t regret it!

Situated in Heidelberg, Doornboom Farm Self Service is a recently renovated accommodation, 3.6 km from Star Nation Art Studio and 25 km from Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve. Janelle and her family, including her dogs and cats were the best of hosts. So welcoming and accommodating! It was my partner's birthday on the day we checked out and shortly before leaving, Janelle surprised us with a small birthday cake she'd just made :) Everything exceeded our expectations!
