The location is perfect for chilling and kitesurfing. There is a kite school next door on the beach where you can rent or even learn how to kite. The spot is great for that, with no crowd and there is a beach to land in high tide, not like in Paje Central where during the high tide the beach disappears. The staff is the best what I have seen so far travelling for 10 years. Welcoming, friendly, always helpful and respectful. We had the best time here. The food is great, they make everything locally with the best ingredients. with the half board you get a great deal, do not worry the meals are not boring, there is enough variety. On Sundays, they make local dishes with local music :) If you want to party, the B4 club is 5 mins by foot. Even though the rooms are enormous, with AC and dealing fan. There is a big bathroom with a shower and bath as well. The gym is good enough, and we never tried the spa. The place has direct beach access with guards 24/7 to keep the local sellers away, no need to worry about safety. I can only recommend this place, we are definitely coming back, and the staff made our stay the most memorable hotel stay. They are truly remarkable.

We felt completely relaxed from the moment we arrived at The Nest. Reception staff Lucy, Gladys and David were really helpful and took care of us so well. Food was nice and varied and it’s close to other restaurants too. The accommodation is beautiful; it feels upmarket and special, but is also sensitively designed to maintain Zanzibar-style decor and, most importantly, sensitive and in-keeping with its natural surroundings. Highlight for me was the outdoor shower! It is so convenient having the villa accommodation right next to the pool so you don’t need to carry anything anywhere, and you can nip indoors for a little AC at any time to cool off. Loved it and would definitely return.

I stayed 3 nights in a room and 1 night in a bungalow (eco bungalow ). The location is amazing, the rooms are very cozy and the bungalows are amazing. The best hotel !!!

My husband and I stayed at Hakuna Majiwe for our honeymoon and absolutley loved it here! The facilities at this hotel are great, rooms are spacious and clean, swimming pool is large and restaurant is great. The team at Hakuna Majiwe are all friendly, warm and incredibly helpful, from the manager Sourav to restaurant staff and the ladies who cleaned our room. Anything we wanted or any problems we encountered were quickly resolved. The hotel is located near the end of Paje beach, a great place to stay and within walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops. The location meant we were able to enjoy Paje's amazing white sand and beautiful beach but were away from all the 'beach boys' trying to sell you tours and trinkets. We greatly enjoyed stay and we will definitely be visiting again!

We had an amazing stay. The rooms are spacious and with good air conditioning. The staff at the breakfast was ever so helpful and nice, the breakfast was good and we have enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea from our table. Similarly, the staff at the bar was very friendly and at the same time very professional, the check in was easy and nothing was too much trouble for team at the Tiki Beach! Very friendly atmosphere, beautiful sea views, nice pool to swim in, and I felt very safe there.
