we never saw a member of staff. we had to check in down the road at a campsite. all rather confusing, especially since we don’t speak French and all the signs were in French. there were many signs in the rooms , in French, apparently informing us about things we did not understand. the plug for the microwave and coffee maker didn’t work, most frustrating after we had finally found a grocery store to buy food and then had trouble heating it.

Mix-up between what was reserved thru Booking.com and the Domain Annie staff. But that was promptly and satisfactorily addressed by the owners and support staff. Was really disappointed that the restaurant had closed earlier this year because of the "pandemic". This place had the BEST restaurant and bar in the region !!! Hope all goes well and they open up again because it is sorely missed by us...It was THE place to congregate and have a good time and supremely exquisite food.

Exceptional view on the St-Lawrence gulf. Wonderful location and squeaky clean room. Very helpful staff with cheery attitudes. Peaceful and quiet locale even if the 132 is near. Would definitely go back again. A special thank you to all the staff that excel in what they do. Be it keeping the grounds clean and well groomed or maintaining the facilities in ship shape condition. The room staff keep everything nice and tidy as well as pristinely clean.

bathtub was slippery when showering breakfast was included, but there was no breakfast and we were not informed about this, nor were we given any ideas about where to have breakfast nearby !

Check in was confusing. I ended up having to phone as there were no staff onsite. I was sent across the highway to a campground to check in. The restaurant was closed and no meals were included. Driving back to town for food was about a 20 minute drive. My room was on the second floor of the main house. Noise was a bit of an issue as I could hear snoring from the room next door.

The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped albeit quite small. The bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well.

There was no one to receive us when we arrived. There was a note to tell us what to do but it was only in French. For all we new the place was closed because of Covid. A French speaking couple arrived and read the note, We had to get the keys from the camp ground across the road. I would have sorted it out but a note in English would would have avoided confusion. When I went to paid I was told that the money had already been taken with my card number and a receipt sent to my email. I checked and found it had not arrived so I got a paper copy. I never arrived. Lack of staff accounts for some of the problems but they were still avoidable.

The room was very pleasing and the continental breakfast was sufficient. The views were excellent.

Beautiful location! We stayed in the motel and the kitchenette and balcony were perfect. The room has everything you need. The hot tub was amazing and so was walking along the shore. Friendliest staff ever!

Bad information and communication. No sign at the house. When arrived, I don't know where to go. The reception is not at the same address showned on booking web site.

Almost everything could have been better, but the best thing is all the remaining rooms on our journey have been great! This was the worst.

There was no dining area, closed. There was no breakfast, closed. There was no air conditioning. There was no working TV. There was no help available. We had to drive a distance for breakfast and supper. The beach was dirty. So what did We like? We had a bed in a crowded tiny room. The shower worked well. There was a spa.

Check in was in the campgacross the street. Nice girl at desk did not know any details about the motel. No staff at hotel to replenish coffee soap, etc. Not clear where to park . Where ice machine was . Needed somebody around who knew something. Finishings in room like window trim door trim not finished, little things could be done to make the room really nice instead of just OK.

There was s smell like varnish walking into the hotel and throughout the building. We just kept out bedroom window open for cleaner air. Lovely breakfast and very friendly and accommodating staff. Upon arriving at the hotel, no one was there and weren't sure where to check in . Would be helpful if there is a sign to direct guests to go to the campsite to check in. Overall a lovely experience.

The beach was very nice and close to the town.
