Rooms a good size clean and tidy, good size bathroom. Decor in reception / hotel was good. Didn't use any facilities there so can't comment but would image they were of a good standard

The bar area was where we were served our dinner, it was cold and the seating not very comfortable. The menu was what I would expect in a casual dining cafe. It could be that as it was Sunday that there was no restaurant open but that was not said to us then. It was only on Monday morning that we realised that there was a proper restaurant in another room where breakfast was served.

The location met our needs and we had free parking in the grounds. The room was large, airy and the beds comfortable, bathroom facilities excellent, clean linen and towels. The breakfast was in the restaurant and there was a good variety of food, the coffee machine delivered a good cup. The staff at reception were curtious and helpful. The hotel is now looking and feeling very tired, it needs an update, even the 'superior' rooms are now lagging behind the competition while still charging a higher rate.

The hotel has a new name but nothing else seems to have changed. The location remains excellent for an overnight stop between Santander and the beaches of southern Spain. Basic rooms are just that, very basic with a small double, you would be better booking a superior room. Breakfast is convenient at the hotel. Staff were helpful as ever.

We cannot find fault.

We had a half board package for 2 nights which was excellent value. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. All the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Ana in the cafe was lovely.

Little bit worn furniture, air condition was not working, no fridge

Good breakfast, excellent, that 3 real beds were available. Easy to park free of charge nearby. Good access to motorway and 25 min walk into city center.

Some people might be put off by the walk (c. 30 minutes) into the town. However, we had chosen this to avoid city-centre traffic and the walk, or most of it, is very pleasant including crossing the 2000-year-old Roman bridge!

The hotel is out of town, on the other side of the River Guadiana. We chose the hotel (having been there before) to avoid having to take the car into the city-centre traffic. The room was very spacious, light and comfortable, and as an extra plus we were able to enjoy our own jacuzzi! Staff were friendly and efficient. When we didn't want to stay in the town centre for dinner on the first night we were able to have an excellent Italian meal in the shopping centre across the road from the hotel.

The bedroom was large, great, but the bed was small and rather cheap looking. One that you would pull out of the garage for extra children to sleep on. Very unexpected for a hotel that size and 'grandeur' that it presents on the outside. It took me half an hour to straighten out my back after an uncomfortable night.

The hotel was easy to get to from the motorway. (With an extra cost of €10 to park the car in the hotel carpark). A lift to the various floors from the basement carpark

Everything was fine. If you like to walk, we can say it walking distance to historical attractions but it' better return by bus or taxi.

The hotel infrastructure was good. Thereon has a good space and the bed is comfortable. Very good breakfast.

Nothing . As with all inland spain areas, the lack of food providers between 4pm and 8 30pm is a real nuisence

The location is great for travel to and from the costa del sol. We are regular travellers in Spain and this Breakfast is the best this year. Great room and very comfortable bed.

Very slow check in. The floor in the room wasn’t very clean, hair and fluff. Shower screen leaked quite badly. (Room 202).

Sadly Spain has one problem for travellers. After a long daytime drive from Santander you have to wait until 8 30 pm to have a decent meal. A decent snack bar or better will always be good news!!! The local "Mac Donalds" was terrible. (but close to the hotel)
