There are smoking balconies so occasionally there was the smell of smoke momentarily wafting in via the window cracks.

Location is good, easy to get to all the major sites from here. Staff are fantastic and so helpful. Very comfortable bed. Pretty clean. A nice room overall. I’d stay here again.

It's not that I didn't like it, but I would much rather prefer to have a mug and a kettle available in the room, instead of small paper cups in the common area. The bathroom had a bit of a damp smell, but it wasn't a big issue, especially when aired with an open window.

The room was very clean and well organized. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. And the beds were super comfy, had a great sleep.

Some people staying at the hotel were loud at night - but that's not the hotel's fault, in fact, the staff told us to inform them if we had any complaints.

Our stay at Hostal Centric went much better than expected. The hotel is small, but all amenities are available, plus it was clean and offered free water and tea throughout. The staff was impeccable - especially Leo, and also Antonio. They were both very interested in our travels and in our culture, and did their best to accommodate us as much as possible. The location is central, close by to most amenities, and in a good restaurant area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Barcelona.

Nice little hotel, single room is on the smaller side but that was expected from photos. Quiet at night, comfortable bed, close to metro Sant Antoni and Urgell. Felt safe to walk alone late at night. Some very nice places to have breakfast or dinner within 5-10 minutes walk. What really surpassed my expectations were staff members. Very friendly and welcoming. Thank you! :)

Few more power sockets would be nice.

The location was great: we could catch bus\metro within 5min walk distance or many tourist areas with just ~15-20min walk. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby that serve branches and late breakfast. Room was nice and cozy. We had a proper king-size double bed with a single mattress. Window was looking into the courtyard, hence it was pretty quiet. The staff was very welcoming and the guy who greeted us even spoke a bit in our native language. Reception desk works 24\7.

The rooms were slightly cramped and there wasn't enough space for both our suitcases, but this was a minor inconvenience. The plumbing occasionally made a weird noise when someone else was using the showers, but again, this wasn't much of an issue.

The location was excellent as it's walking distance from most of the places of interest, and close to bus stops and underground metro stops. There are plenty of small markets that open 24/7 just a few corners away. Although they don't serve food, there are dozens of very good eating establishments in the area and the super friendly reception staff will be happy to give recommendations. You can borrow a kettle and iron from reception with a deposit (which you get back on return) and there's a kettle and free water and tea in the lobby. The staff is very friendly and we had an amazing experience speaking with them and getting to know about things to do in Barcelona. We were so thankful to Leonel who always suggested great places and looked things up for us. Antonio was also super sweet, and learned to greet us in our language. The rooms were clean and the facilities worked as they should. Having an air conditioner in the room was also very nice and you could set it however you want (unlike most places we've stayed at). I would definitely recommend it there :)

The only problem I had was with the bed. It was a bit uncomfortable and gave me some minor back problems during my stay.

The hotel was in a very good location, very close to the main square of the city, but away from the crowds. The facilities were spotless and the staff were extremely polite and helpful! The room had everything we needed for our short stay.
