Many small problems that could be easily fixed and would dramatically improve the room. Broken trash can in the bathroom, broken toilet paper holder, shower door didn't fully close, loose bidet, one of the beds was very noisy. No toiletries other than 2 champoos and 2 small bars of soap (for 2 people, 5 nights). The hairdryer had tangled hair on it.

Location is excellent. 5 minute walk from the colisseo, metro station and Piazza Venezia. Quiet, picturesque street. Quiet rooms. The owner let us leave the bags before check in and after check out. Clean sheets and towels. Provides a receipt that you fully paid.

The room was really small. Too small for a twin room. The toilet kicked up an unpleasant smell. Maybe that was due to old Roman plumbing.

Bathroom could be updated. It wasn't horrible, but definitely didn't fit the updated feel of the rest of the hotel The "blanket" on the bed was incredibly thin. We had our own blankets for traveling with us and used them along with the sheets and "blanket" they provided. Stairs. About 4 flights of stairs to reach the hotel. Not awful, but definitely something to think about when booking. Lights: and honestly I just feel stupid for this, but the lights in the main halls of the hotel were never on when we were coming and going. We just always turned on our phone flashlights to get around. It wasn't until our last day that we figured out that next to every door (entry door and room doors) there were light switches to turn the lights on and off. Something I wish someone would have told us before!

The train station was very close to the hotel, a 7 min walk. We got there around 10am, early for check-in, but thankfully the guy (I completely forget his name!) was there and still allowed us to check in and leave our bags. We left and our room was ready a bit early around 2:30pm. Finishing check-in was very easy. I did notice some of the reviews mentioned there was never anyone around and that was basically true. Very rarely was there someone in the actually hotel (which only had a few rooms, but seems common in Italy). We did see someone cleaning rooms, but they don't clean the rooms during your stay, which was fine by us. The guy did give us his personal number and told us to reach out if we needed anything, but we didn't bother. The location was amazing! We loved how central it was and there was tons of bars and restaurants literally right downstairs. We didn't bother looking for places to eat, because we just went downstairs and went to a different restaurant each night! Our colosseum tour also met about 3 min walk away which was fantastic! The room was huge. We got the standard double room with a queen bed and it was very comfortable for my sister and I. I'm much more used to comforters so that wasn't great. It has a large window, with a cute view of the very active little street outside with all the bars and restaurants. Not really a view of the city, but fun to see anyways! It did get a bit loud at night, but if everything is closed up and the blinds closed, it wasn't bad. The room also had a nespresso machine.

There was a drainage smell in the building. It was ok if you kept the bathroom door shut but got worse throughout the stay. One morning we didn’t have hot water to shower but other than that no complaints.

Location was incredible. 5 minute walk to the colosseum and 10 to trevi fountain. Restaurants and bars on the street and super convenient. Bernanrdo was super helpful and when I messaged asking where the iron was he dropped it to our door within 5 mins!

This was our honeymoon trip, and we ask for a big bed. But when we got there, there was 2 separate beds, with bad pillows and awful mattresses . We ask for another room, beacause we mention that we want big bed earlier . But the hotel owner said that there is no rooms. When we check that on booking. com, we saw that there was rooms. In room there was a window, but in the it was soo dark in the room, because we saw only technical room.
