I ofter stay in semporna so i like to stay in a hotel a few days or 1-2 night only. The previous hotel that i like to stay is closed already so i tried Halo hotel for the first time. I like that the hotel is cheap but the bed tho, i can feel the bed spring 🥲 well the hotel itself it’s cheap so i think I’m ok with it. Might probably stay here again

Malaysiamy room so dirty. the ceiling have a leaking mark and the paint is dated. my bed full with fallen paint from the ceiling. toilet dirty we wear our on slipper to use the toilet. small room is acceptable but the cleanliness not acceptable. we have a bad 2 night staying here. please check the room before let your guest stay in.

MalaysiaRoom was tiny, dirty and basic with no TV. Kettle and mugs were dirty. Towels were old and not washed well. Toilet was dirty with hair in trap. Mirror and sink dirty. No shampoo and toilet paper need to ask for them to be refilled. Door was broken and cannot be locked. Friends room has cockroaches and ants.
Checked in was ok with staff quite ready to serve and quick to answer requests.

MalaysiaOur first room was dirty with cockroaches everywhere. Toilet was super dry with stains on the toilet bowl and sink (yellowish colour) Bedsheets was stained and has hairs on it as well. Room was smelly as well. We went to the reception and told them to change our room. Got a bigger and better room, however still had cockroaches everywhere and toilet/bathroom was still dirty (sigh). I hope this property will improve their housekeeping.
Location was strategic and some of the staffs was helpful.

MalaysiaIt was a Disaster to have booked into this Halo Hotel !!! Those pictures shown on the Booking.com website were of ages ago! NEVER being updated, I suppose ?? The conditions of their rooms, amenities, furnishings; overall cleanliness & hygiene were beyond words can described and it was a HORROR experience having booked into this "Hotel - that does not even qualified for an INN",! If not because we arrived late at Semporna, we may not even want to stay for the Night !! Please also refer to our many Feedback through your Customers Service Channel - for those Messages. Another Hotel just located at the same row 2 doors away provides a much cleaner rooms with all expected amenities only sell at MYR80 & 90 for their Superior & Deluxe Rooms respectively. vs. this Run-down Halo Hotel that sold us at MYR130.30 per night that was equivalent to a Daylight Robbery ?!!! Booking.com should conduct a Mysterious Shopper Trip to this Property to DISCOVER for yourselves that our Feedback are indeed valid ?? Regards
