We loved our stay in Meknes. It was our first time in a riad and we were delighted. The interior is very beautiful. We were there in the off season in February, so we were the only guests for our two night stay. There was great communication with our host on how to find the riad, for example, which gate to get a taxi to, which alleyway to walk down to find the accommodation, etc. The location is good. It is very close to Lahdim Square, Bab El Mansour Gate, and Dar Jami Museum. Unfortunately, during our stay Bab El Mansour and Lahdim Square were undergoing renovations, so we didn't get to have the full effect.

From previous comments a lot of people recommend him, but I was surprised to find beautiful person like Zakaria, that will talk with you about Maroc, People, Berbers and other things in Maroc. It was 2 nights accommodation at first but I extended it for another 2 nights so I stayed in this riad for four nights in total. I booked twin bed but they offered me that I can stay in whatever room I want. The riad has an amazingly decorated terrace and it has an amazing view especially for sunrises that made me stay up early in the morning. The breakfast was excellent. Everybody and everything was so nice and good in every aspect. But most importantly Hassan the host made me feel like I’m visiting a friend, even a family member. He is very kind, helpful and trustworthy. I’ll always appreciate the yellow handmade present that he gave me. And of course I definitely will stay in this place if I ever visit Meknes again.

We were in the suite on the top floor. The main bedroom was fine. The adjoining room was without a/c so too uncomfortable for May. Fine for a couple. Breakfast was great. The whole Riad was charming and the service was great. I can definitely recommend this gem in Meknes. Great location behind the main square.
