The staff is beyond excellent, extremely polite, friendly and welcoming. We had the Japanese breakfast which was really delicious. I loved how big our room was, it was all well worth the stay.

The gardens and small pathways between offer a nice area to meander in any season. The homes are extremely well kept and it truly feels like stepping back in time. The warmth of traditional woodwork and tatami offer an incredible experience. Washrooms are renovated and modern. Public bath is located steps away within the facility. Food was exceptional with myriad of unique local tastes and seasonal twists.

The nearest airport is Komatsu Airport, 47 km from the property. I love everything in this Ryokan. Staying here makes you feel like home because the members of the family who own it are the ones attending to us. They made sure that our stay would be very comfortable and memorable. In just one night, we fell in love with this wonderful family who hosted us like we are part of their family. We love them. The food they serve were organic and very fresh. The deer that had was hunt by one of their family members, the little kids who were like 4 and 6 years old were also present and even served us tea (how cute!). My daughter celebrated her birthday here and they truly have helped made it fun and memorable for my daughter.

Rooms with contemporary Japanese design are fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and come with a private open-air bath. Also comes with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a seating area with low table. Paradise. It embodies Japanese refinement with special attention to the smallest details. The room was beautiful , comfortable and having our own private onsen was a big plus. The staff was outstanding bending over backwards to please. The kaiseki was grand , the food was delicious. The gracious lady who served all our meals went to great length to explain every single ingredient and course.

The owners are so friendly and put so much effort into making your stay a great one. Breakfast and dinner were both fabulous and the onsen as well. It’s also in a great location and you can walk everywhere. Highly recommend!
