Onsen Guest House Tsutaya on hiljuti renoveeritud Jaapani võõrastemaja, mis asub Hakone linnas, Hakone-Yumoto jaamast 6,5 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on vabaõhuvann ja mäevaated. Possibly the best hostel I have ever stayed - though that word doesn’t do it justice! Onsen and all common spaces were beautiful, the kitchen was the best appointed I’ve ever seen with everything from cooking sake to coffee beans and grinders, staff were helpful. It’s a bit out of the way of things but that makes for a really peaceful atmosphere.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. It is a Japanese style inn with retro vibes. Their private onsen's water comes from the very hot spring source of Kusatsu and therefore you can experience the hot spring water without going to the public baths if you are shy. We mostly used them at night when the town's baths are closed since the inn's are 24/7 open. I would recommend to book a japanese style room as it has it's tatami and according decoration and together with the inn's yukata (there is an opt for a colorful one and geta to rent) it gives a more japanese experience. We liked that the inn had slippers for going outside which was convenient as the whole town is full with onsens (even ones that are only for feet) and therefore is more convenient to move in slippers. They have a game area with a lot of retro game (even arcade games) and Nintendo SFC System Video Game Console in the rooms. It may not be in the centre of the town (around 10 min walk for either yubatake or Sainokawara Park and open onsen) but is very close to it and also they offer pick up/drop off from the bus terminal. Staff were very friendly and helped with everything we needed. In our next visit to Kusatsu we are definitely staying there!

Hakone Gora KARAKU asub Hakone linnas, 8,3 km kaugusel Hakone-Yumoto jaamast. Kohapeal on saun, kuumaveeallikavann ja avalik saun. Very friendly and helpful staff! The service was simply top tier. The dinner and breakfast were amazing. Really enjoyed the private open air bath, especially after running 2 marathons in the 2 week prior. Central location, pretty much a short walk from the Gora station.

Hot Spring Inn Hakone Suisen pakub kuumaveeallikate vanni ja tasuta parkimist. Hakone-Yumoto jaam on 4,2 km ja Kowakudani jaam 3,6 km kaugusel. The room was gorgeous! The breakfast was really good and it had two different onsen. The onsen were small, but I liked it a lot. The people were nice. I highly recommend this place! It was beautiful.

Järvevaate ja aiaga Chuzenji Pension pakub majutust suurepärases asukohas Nikkos, lühikese jalutuskäigu kaugusel Kegoni joast, Chuzenji järvest ja Chuzenji templist. Super friendly and helpful staff, everyone can speak English. Food is top-notch. The view from the room is magnificent.

Centurion Hakone Bettei asub Hakone linnas. Neljatärni tubadel on privaatne rõdu. Kohapeal on restoran, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Superb service with extremely polite staffs.

Mullivanniga majutusasutus Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan asub Hakone'is. Mäevaatega kolmetärnihotell asub Hakone-Yumoto jaamast 6,2 km kaugusel. Nice place and nice host! He gave us a lot of useful tips about Hakone

Tokyo linnas asuv cyashitsu ryokan asakusa on 300 meetri kaugusel Asakusa Fujiasama pühamust ja 7,5 km kaugusel kesklinnast. See oli suurepärane ryokan. Kohe saabudes saime tunde, et oleme traditsioonilises Jaapani elukohas. Meie vastuvõtjad olid ülimalt abivalmis, soovitasid õhtusöögi restorane ja tegelesid broneerimisega. Toad olid hubased ja magamismatid ülimugavad. Ja muidugi onsen kuuma veega maja katusel oli boonuseks ! Asukoht Asakusas väga hea, jalutuskäigu kaugusel Jaapani vanim tempel ja palju traditsioonilisi söögikohti. Eriline tänu Yukkale, kes hoolitses meie eest, nagu oleksime pereliikmed. Suur-suur tänu kogu ryokani perele, oleme õnnelikud, et saime just Teie juures need 2 päeva Jaapanis veeta.
