Onsen Guest House Tsutaya ligger i Hakone, inom 6,5 km från Hakone-Yumoto station och 48 km från Fuji-Q Highland. Denna ryokan med 2 stjärnor har ett gemensamt kök och bagageförvaring. Onsen var fantastisk, rummen och själva Guest house var så mysigt.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. It is a Japanese style inn with retro vibes. Their private onsen's water comes from the very hot spring source of Kusatsu and therefore you can experience the hot spring water without going to the public baths if you are shy. We mostly used them at night when the town's baths are closed since the inn's are 24/7 open. I would recommend to book a japanese style room as it has it's tatami and according decoration and together with the inn's yukata (there is an opt for a colorful one and geta to rent) it gives a more japanese experience. We liked that the inn had slippers for going outside which was convenient as the whole town is full with onsens (even ones that are only for feet) and therefore is more convenient to move in slippers. They have a game area with a lot of retro game (even arcade games) and Nintendo SFC System Video Game Console in the rooms. It may not be in the centre of the town (around 10 min walk for either yubatake or Sainokawara Park and open onsen) but is very close to it and also they offer pick up/drop off from the bus terminal. Staff were very friendly and helped with everything we needed. In our next visit to Kusatsu we are definitely staying there!

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. I loved everything about this place! The staff was amazing, super friendly and nice people. Very helpful and cheerful but professional. The food was amazing too. I'm vegan and can say that I didn't expect that a hotel would put so much effort into creating a perfect vegan meal. Thank you so much for this experience. The Onsen is great too, I loved it (public and private ones). Directly in front of the hotel is a bus stop so it's super easy to get everywhere from the hotel. The room was very clean and beautiful, providing everything you need. I wish I could have stayed longer at this amazing place! Highly recommend!

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. Amazing hotel, historical vibe, great room (our room was in the historical building)

Hot Spring Inn Hakone Suisen ligger i Hakone, 4,2 km från Hakone-Yumoto station, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering och en terrass. The room was gorgeous! The breakfast was really good and it had two different onsen. The onsen were small, but I liked it a lot. The people were nice. I highly recommend this place! It was beautiful.

Chuzenji Pension ligger i Nikko, inom 9 minuters promenad från Kegons vattenfall och 16 km från Nikkō Tōshō-gūs tempel, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi samt gratis privat parkering... Super friendly and helpful staff, everyone can speak English. Food is top-notch. The view from the room is magnificent.

Centurion Hakone Bettei ligger i Hakone, 12 km från Hakone-Yumoto station, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering och en restaurang. Superb service with extremely polite staffs.

Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan erbjuder rum i Hakone nära Kowakudani station och Skulpturparken Hakone. Nice place and nice host! He gave us a lot of useful tips about Hakone

Cyashitsu ryokan asakusa ligger idealiskt beläget i Tokyo och erbjuder luftkonditionerade rum med en gemensam lounge, gratis WiFi och en terrass. Otroligt trevlig, hjälpsam och tillmötesgående personal. Definitivt den bästa servicen vi har fått under hela vår vistelse i Japan. Kommer definitivt att återvända! Hela upplevelsen från början till slut var absolut perfekt!
