The property is a beautiful, traditional building located down a small side street. The rooms were always kept very clean, with staff making up our beds every day and tidying up any mess. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable, and the breakfast included every morning is delicious.

A 1000 year-old Buddhist temple, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in offers Japanese-style accommodation, a beautiful garden and free WiFi. The experience at temple - morning prayer, goma fire ritual and evening meditation. Location is excellent - proxikity to okunoin entrance. Very well staff. Overall excellent expereince. The food was very tasty and had variety.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, 高野山 宿坊 大明王院 -Koyasan Shukubo Daimyououin- is set in Koyasan, 39 km from Kishi Station and 45 km from Matsushita Park. Staying here was one of my favorite experiences on the trip. I enjoyed the morning prayer and the cemetery near by. The food suprised and delighted.

清浄心院 is situated in Koyasan, 39 km from Kishi Station, 45 km from Matsushita Park, and 45 km from Itakiso Shrine. It is set 39 km from Tama Museum and features full-day security. Amazing experience!!! There is a heater in the room, so even if you are traveling during the cold season, you can sleep in a heated room. Great typical dinner, and excellent location.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 祇園の宿 杏花 is located in Kyoto, 300 metres from Gion Shijo Station and 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. The location of the property was amazing and of course it was a very special and interesting place

Set in Shirahama, within 200 metres of Shirahama Beach and 1.2 km of Ezura Beach, Shirahama no Yado Daigo offers free WiFi throughout the property. This place has a 9.1 rating and most reviews seem too good to be true but trust me on this, this place is THAT good. And I would rate this hotel a 100 out of 10 if I can, the high rating is truly deserved. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the futon is comfortable. The location is great, there are many food places nearby, the beach is just a few minutes walk away (you can even see it from your room depending on where you are placed), and the bus stop which will take you to the station or most places around Shirahama is very near.

Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St. Provides accommodation located 600 metres from the centre of Kyoto and offers an open-air bath and a shared lounge. The facilities are super clean and comfortable. Staff is very kind.
