Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Kaiseki dinner was very delicious! And served on time. Private bath also very clean and comfortable. Public bath onsen really big and has very nice view of mt. fuji. Great service to have pick up shuttle from hotel to kawaguchiko terminal. Definetly will come back.

Alle kamers van het Hotel Asafuji bieden uitzicht op de berg Fuji en het Kawaguchimeer en beschikken over baden met warm bronwater. De service was top en het eten was heerlijk. We sliepen heerlijk op de futonbedden. Ook fijn dat ze een onsen hadden. Daar kan je heerlijk even ontspannen. Echt een aanrader wanneer je even wilt ontspannen.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. This was an exceptional stay. While the onsen doesn't offer a direct view of mount Fuji, we could clearly see it on our drive over thanks to clear skies. When we entered the premises, the staff was attentive immediately. From taking our luggage to making sure we were set up in our room. The room was SPACIOUS, with a lounge area and bedroom with screens to close off sections. The highlight was having our own outdoor bath to enjoy during cold winter nights. Perhaps the most breathtaking aspect of our stay were the meals. We were blown away by our dinner. It was the best thing we ate during out entire trip in Japan (we were in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto prior). We enjoyed a sumptuous parade of dishes that really showed off the local ingredients. We didn't think it could get better, but breakfast the next day was equally, if not more, delicious. While expensive, we enjoyed a serene getaway with our private outdoor bath and excellent meals. Would love to return.

八海 木花館 ligt in Oshino, op 10 km van pretpark Fuji-Q Highland, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren en een tuin. The location and the view of Mt Fuji at the property was just spectacular. The food and service was impeccable. Nina Lin was sharing with us all the great spots to take photos of Mt Fuji and we really enjoyed our conversations with her. The other older lady was very helpful and hospitable as well and we can't praise them enough for making our stay so memorable!

The host was incredibly sweet and accommodating, with lots of knowledge of the local area, including the best spots to take photos of Fuji. He gave us complimentary tea/coffee and snacks in our room, and kindly offered to drive us to the station after we checked out. Traditional atmospheric ryokan (room had a cozy kotatsu).

Private Hotel Rei is gelegen in Fujikawaguchiko, op 7,1 km van Kawaguchimeer, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. In the first place, the location of the hotel Rei is superb. Host is very hospitable and helpful, he speaks good English and provided us with tips where to take the best pictures. Cusine is very well-prepared. In-house onsen is well setup upon our arrival.

Ruime ryokan met zit- en aangrenzende slaapkamer met heel vriendelijk personeel. Uitzicht op Mount Fuji. Heel mooi en goed ontbijt. Pick up vanaf het station. Fietsenverhuur aan de overkant van de straat. Prachtige omgeving bij Lake Kawaguchiko. Mooi om te wandelen en te fietsen. Wasmachine.

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. The staff were so nice. The free shuttle to the snow monkeys. Good coffee.
