Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Stayed for 2 nights and it was an excellent experience! Service was impeccable. The kaiseki in-room dinner was fantastic. Presentation was 10/10 and food was really fresh! Would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

L'Hotel Asafuji offre viste sul Monte Fuji e sul Lago Kawaguchi da tutti i bagni termali e da tutte le camere, decorate in stile giapponese e dotate di aria condizionata e set di tè verde, il WiFi... Free station pick-up is convenient. The room and public onsen bath were very clean and with fantastic view. Sleepling in the futons on tatami was an interesting experience like in Doraemon and Chibi maruko-chan! It was comfortable, We got a very good rest. We were hosted by a lady from Vietnam, who was kind, attentive and helpful. She clearly introduced each dish during the meal and there was no problem in English communication. The food part was extremely amazing! The dinner and breakfast were very rich and delicious. We fully tasted the flavor of the ingredients and felt the chef's intention👍 This visit was perfect and I will definitely come again.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. This was an exceptional stay. While the onsen doesn't offer a direct view of mount Fuji, we could clearly see it on our drive over thanks to clear skies. When we entered the premises, the staff was attentive immediately. From taking our luggage to making sure we were set up in our room. The room was SPACIOUS, with a lounge area and bedroom with screens to close off sections. The highlight was having our own outdoor bath to enjoy during cold winter nights. Perhaps the most breathtaking aspect of our stay were the meals. We were blown away by our dinner. It was the best thing we ate during out entire trip in Japan (we were in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto prior). We enjoyed a sumptuous parade of dishes that really showed off the local ingredients. We didn't think it could get better, but breakfast the next day was equally, if not more, delicious. While expensive, we enjoyed a serene getaway with our private outdoor bath and excellent meals. Would love to return.

Located in Oshino and only 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 八海 木花館 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Service was impeccable. The location was amazing - I had a view of Mt. Fuji from my room. It was the perfect relaxing retreat that I had in mind.

The host is so friendly and helpful, and he speaks good English as well, which is a plus! The ryokan was very clean, comfortable and kept us warm. We also had delicious breakfasts made by the host, all of our group enjoyed it!

Great service from staff, extremely attentive and made you feel at home. The location was also super convenient and central to the area.

Struttura in vero stile giapponese, tradizionale, molto pulita e accogliente con colazione e cena abbondanti e veramente tipici. Gestita da una famiglia veramente gentile che ci ha coccolato e ha soddisfatto ogni nostra necessità

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Spacious and beautifully decorated Japanese style room with any amenities you could think of. Very quiet, comfy beds. We had a private Onsen in our room which we didn’t use as the public one was great. There was tea time in the afternoon and cocktails in the evening all free of charge. Breakfast had a variety of Asian and Western choices. The staff were very attentive and helpful. It’s a bit up the hill - however if you don’t like to walk there is a free shuttle from the train station and back.
