Great place to stay when you are in Rethymno. It is located few meters from the beach and very close to the city center. There are free parking spots near the place. The room was very clean, renovated, the balcony was quite big. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The hosts were extremely friendly, gave us very good recommendations and some home-made products as a gift. We will definatelly go there again once we are back in Crete!

This was one of the nicest hotel rooms that we've stayed in in a while. We were welcomed warmly by Despoina, our host, with a large tray of food and Greek specialty items, including two bottles of wine from the father's winery, and a traditional bottle of Raki, also made by the father. Plenty - even more than we needed - to keep us going for our 4 day visit. The balcony was our favorite part - food smells not a problem for us, as the view overcame any complaint we might have had (truthfully, we smelled frying fish only once). One night while sipping wine, we were regaled by an accordian player - well, he was playing for the diners below, but we got to enjoy him as well. We were sad to leave! The location was perfect - very close to the parking lot, and right in the middle of old town Rethymno.

There are several supermarkets on the main road and ATMs. There are no shortage of tavernas within a short walking distance.
