The cottage had big size rooms and bathroom. It was clean and well kept. The patio was the best addition. Over all it was peaceful and well maintained.

The pod was absolutely gorgeous - so thoughtfully put together to get the most out of the space and had so much fitted in there. A small but rare thing for these types of places was that the plates, bowls, mugs etc were actually nice and not just bought as cheap as possible. The tv has Netflix and there is also a Dyson hairdryer, and beers and milk were left in the fridge for us. The sauna was AMAZING and ice water and fruit was left outside it for us which was so thoughtful. We also went on a gorgeous walk with amazing views of the Loch just 15-20 minutes from the pods. Brian and Gillian were so kind and welcoming, it was a pleasure to stay there. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Easy check in with the keys in the lockbox. Alan, our host, responded quickly to our queries. The apartment was clean and tidy, which could accommodate 4 of us. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well equipped and we can prepare simple meals. The beds were comfortable which allowed us a good sleep. The location was good too, within walking distance to the town center and near driving to places of attractions around Balloch. The TV entertainment channels were great! And finally the checking out like any other instructions was easy and simple. Thanks Alan and June. We had a great stay although it was only for two nights.

Loch lomond apartments está en Alexandria, a 24 km de Mugdock Country Park y a 31 km de Lago de Menteith. The highlights were definitely the own sauna in the bathroom and the hot tub in a separate little shed across the garden. We had gone to Loch Lomond to hike and these installations were so relaxing for our aching bones. The apartment itself was lovely and cosy and our warm-hearted host Eddie kept enquiring whether we needed anything. A plus were the lovely view and Eddie’s sheep and his two cute dogs. Absolutely recommended!
