This aparthotel provides free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. Girao Cape is 40 km from the aparthotel and Santana's traditional houses is 46 km away. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Welcoming drinks at the arrival, sparkling wine at the room. Spacious room with huge bed and even bigger pillows. Free access to the natural pools. As pools were too cold for us, we enjoyed the jacuzzi zone on the hotel roof. Breakfast was nice, with many fruit options and a nice view. Good value for money.

Boasting a rooftop pool and views of mountain, Blue House is a recently renovated apartment situated in Ponta do Sol, 80 metres from Lugar de Baixo Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. The apartment has family rooms. Great location, close to the Ponta do Sol. You can hear and see the ocean right from your balcony. Beach is about 100m away, you only need to cross quite a busy street. There is also a nice, glazed private pool on the outside terrace as well as some sunbeds and parasols. Parking is free, on the street. We did not have any problems with street parking there.

Location: perfect. 2 min from airport bus stop and la vie mall which has Pingo Doche supermarket . 1 min to SAM bus terminal. As we didn’t rent a car, it was perfect taking bus to places we wanted ( or transport pick up services to hiking)5 min to promenade and 15 min to old town. Unit 3A: our unit is big and kitchen has everything we need that we cooked most of our meals during our 8 days stay. Bring all herbs/oil/salt/pepper with you if you don’t want to buy at supermarket. There are 3 dolce gusto capsules and 3 tea bags. Dish detergent/capsules and shower gels. Extra towels and bedsheets in the closet in case we needed them. There is a car/motercycle rental next door if you want to rent a car. Communication is perfect with whatsapp and instructions via video. Overall we had a great stay and wish we could stay longer!

I don't know where to start except - Andreina and Alex, thank you! You are the best host I've ever had. Communication with Andreina was great! She was available 24/7 and allowed us quite early check in and also on the check out day we left our baggage until 7 pm in the apartment. Alex welcomed us at the apartment, showed us around, gave many tips and tricks and also was always around if needed help for anything. It's so rare these days that hosts welcome you on your arrival. Apartment was everything we hoped for. Clean, spacious, with enogh towels, toiletries (even makeup remover wipes!) and with great views over the city! Parking sport is very covenient, free and you approach it from the steep road but nothing to be worry about. Location is great for driving around island as it's close to exit for Via Rapida and also is short drive to the Funchal centre. I highly recommend you to book your stay here as I will, for sure, be back over and over again!
