La Badia is a lovely family run hotel in a beautiful setting with a stunning view over the Sorrento bay. We had a fantastic 4 night stay there and absolutely loved it. It can be a challenge getting in to town if you don’t have a car as it is on a hill just out of town, but the bus stop is right there and the buses very regular and easy to catch! You can walk down to Marina Grande from the hotel which has a lovely little beach where you don’t pay. The staff are the stars of the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly and helpful! My wheel on my bag broke and they got the maintenance guy to try and fix it! The first night we were very tired, having travelled from Cape Town so they ordered in pizzas for us! Maria, Fabrizio, Michaela, Giuseppe in the dining room, and co were all awesome!! The room was great and the breakfast, delicious, with croissants fresh and warm from the oven! Lovely pool! I would go back there in a heartbeat!!

This property is a true gem! The rooms are beautifully presented with a modern and stylish touch, and impeccably clean. Communication with the owner via WhatsApp was ok(I think she can be more polite with guests). Although we only stayed for one night before moving to a nearby hotel, we wish we had stayed longer. The room exceeded our expectations. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the main area of Sorrento and the train station. Overall, we highly recommend this cozy home to fellow travelers. The attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere make for a memorable stay. We would definitely return in the future!

It was a very nice stay, clean, tidy, with a very good breakfast, and centrally located and with easy access to the center, shops, train station etc. The best part was the host. This accommodation is lovely and perfectly located. It is just a 10 minute walk from the ferry port and right in the centre of Sorrento, where the vibe is really cool and vibrant. There are some great shops, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep., and a truly stunning beach is less than a 10 minute walk away. The host Salvatore is very helpful and friendly. He made check in very smooth. We would recommend this place, especially for couples.

The rooms are priced very competitively and are exceptionally clean. While not located in the city center of Sorrento, it is easily accessible by bus. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Maria, in particular, was a fantastic host, always available to assist us and ensure we had the best possible stay. Additionally, the cleaning staff were extremely friendly and polite. The hotel is basic, but clean and sufficient. Close to the parking area. Pets are allowed and my dog enjoyed the room as well.

They are truly pet friendly, our dog was happy! :) They have a nice restaurant, with vegetables from their garden. They also make their own olive oils and limoncello. We had a wonderful stay!
