Good location, beautiful view, convenient setup, nice host - not so many affordable apartments can fullfill the needs of a family of 4, the Apartment Zugspitz is definitely one of them.

Upon arrival, we reported a problem with a glass door being loose from the frame but the owner was immediate to respond and acknowledged addressing the problem.

Our hosts had a very clean and comfy place. The views from the patio exceeded my expectations and so did the very nice restaurant next-door. We could walk to everything and the town was full of very friendly local people. We had no issues with parking and really appreciated this.

Inside it was quitte dark. The cows are very charming but if you are not used to the clinging of cows bells than the cows are living maybe a bit to close by 😀

Really next to the Alps, great environment. The apartment is spacious. Do visit the pizzeria next door. If they are full, they are more than willing to serve you at your own terrace. Great pizza, great service. Also, be aware at Sunday everything is closed. You can use some automats with basic groceries. The milk automat in town is a great invention!

Parking next to the apartment can be challenging if all the spots next to the back of the apartment are taken. Having said that we managed to find parking on all days!

Very nice location close to good hiking tracks and also very easy to reach close attractions like Wank, Zugspitze, Lake Eibsee, Mittenwald etc. Good facilities in the kitchen like dishwasher and also the apartment is equipped for young children. The view out of the terrace is amazing too! Communication with the owners was very easy and we never felt alone in case we needed something. They also supply a Farchant guest card which can get useful especially in Summer periods.

Everything we needed at a home away from home. We did not have to ask for anything , everything was in place. It was very convenient staying with a toddler. Highly recommended.

The indoor swimming pool and sauna was out of order during our stay, that would have been great to use. The storage space for 3 people was a bit limited, most storage is taken up by extra towels, equipment and bedding etc but after some organising still an acceptable amount.

Alpin Terrace view was wonderful, close to hiking tracks and the local outdoor swimming pools with a one of a kind mountain view. The flat comes well stocked with all the facilities and things one needs, including for our toddler. All the little things like candles, enough towels, cleaning products etc were provided. cosy interior and wonderful and very responsive host. The adjacent pizzeria is a definite bonus and very good quality food. The area and the village are very picturesque and good for young families, would not hesitate to come back.

- The mattress on the bed in the living room is really bad - you can feel the springs pushing into your back. - The toilet is placed absurdly high - I'm 185 cm and I had to balance on the tips of my toes or put something under my feet when sitting on it. - The cleanliness could be improved ( it was not well vacuum-cleaned and some utensils were not cleaned properly ). - Whoever is taking care of the property locally is not very responsive. We didn't need a child-chair, we were told it's going to be picked at a certain time. It was not. Then we were told to leave it outside of the apartment. It was there for 3 or 4 days, nobody picked it until we departed. - The building has a pool, but it is out of order.

- Absolutely great location - the town has a lot of restaurants, cafes a small shop and is well connected by train and bus. The apartment house is located very close to some interesting locations ( public pool, a little natural park, a forest walk that goes directly to one of the cable car stations.) - Very responsive host, however they are remote, so their ability to help in case of trouble is somewhat limited. - The kitchen is well equipped. - Free parking right at the entrance.
