It’s not very social at all. Staff are unable to help with booking tours even though they are advertised around the property.

I loved the atmosphere, it is a very nice and sociable hostel with the loveliest staff! The pool is great on hot days. The rooms have AC and the sleeping pods allow for privacy. Definitely would recommend!

Because its Capsule beds it gets really hot during the night in your bed cuz the AC cant really cool it down.. didnt get good sleep due to that

Capsules got very hot at night. Top bunk was especially hot. Could do with better AC maybe? Bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable because of the springs.

Capsule was spacious. Pool and outside area was nice with lots of beanbags to chill. Bathroom was massive with lots of showers and toilets. Bar hut outside was nice touch. Dining area was very spacious. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was especially good. Staff were EXTREMELY friendly, helpful and cheerful. Easy to make friends. Dorms were surprisingly quiet although 16 in a room! Staff did good cleaning job! Easy to rent a scooter from reception. Lots of space on balcony to hang wet towels/swimwear. Music was always good too. Location was very ideal.

The place is really clean, there s a huge mirror in the bathroom and it’s crazy how clean it was. Lol. But mostly the people there are amazing, I forgot my shoes and they really stretched themselves to help me out, so I got them back in Ubud. Thousand thanks for that!

Kaniu make me extend longer and longer. The vibes and the staff are so impeccable, and the shower is another level. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It’s slightly out of town but you can hire bikes directly from the hostel so they make it so easy!

This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! It’s SO clean - the staff are constantly cleaning! Pool and social area is so nice and really helps to get travellers together. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Beds are so comfortable and spacious.

I can't complain about anything. I guess a few will say the location is a bit far from center. But therefor it is very quiet there and with the scooter you are in the center in less then 3 minutes. So not that bad.

This hostel has really nice vibe, which comes mostly from the very lovely and happy staff! The pool area is very nice to meet some new people from all over the world!

Super friendly staff, very clean, and it is not a party hostel, but the pool area with the beanbags and the table tennis gives a nice opportunity to get to know amazing travellers. 10/10 all in all, i'd recommend staying at Kaniu for everyone who is looking for a pleasant time in Lombok. Really social hostel with nice pool area. Comfy beds with lock ups for valuables. You can keep your beer in the fridge!
