Everyone always address my needs as far as they can provide, and always with a warm smile on their face. This is the absolute Japanese hospitality experience bar none. The owner (and almost every staff there) can speak perfect english so you will never have any problem with the language barrier. Love the private onsen. I take baths every day, sometimes twice a day. The cold winter helps.

I have celiac disease and the staff went above and beyond to prepare our dinners to ensure it worked with my dietary needs.

The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. Such a gorgeous place with the loveliest staff! We felt thoroughly pampered from head to toe during our stay. An incredible experience, please don’t miss out on the course dinner/breakfast! Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. The facilities were incredible, the food amazing. We had such a relaxed time.

Host is very hospitable and helpful, he speaks good English and provided us with tips where to take the best pictures. Cusine is very well-prepared. In-house onsen is well setup upon our arrival.

Amazing facilities - big spacious room, very clean. The onsen is great with natural spring water, very clean and tidy, if a bit small but it’s no issue.
